Basis Update

Saved Scenario Parameters

Select the scenario which will be used to update the basis.

Update Scheme Details with new Valuation Date/Data File names

Click this to update Scheme Details with new Valuation Date/Data Filenames using the settings in the selected Scenario.

Saved Basis Parameter Sets

Select the Basis File(s) you wish to update.

Basis Parameter Filename (to store Updated Bases)

Specify a name for the new Basis File file. The filename specified must not already exist as it will not overwrite an existing file.

Double Clicking will activate the standard Windows Open File Dialog box for selection of a file (which can be used as a starting point for the name of the file).

SuperVal will save the new Basis File in the current Input Folder.

New Basis File Description

The description of the Parameters File used for identification.

This Parameter File description can be modified here when saving a parameter set if the Edit Parameter File Description box is checked.

Current Financial Parameter Set

New Financials Parameter Set

Specify a unique description of the Financial Parameter Set.

Note that this is a description of the parameter set that is being stored.

Create a new Financials Set

Check this box to create a new Financials Set for the updated basis file.

Run

Click the Run button to run the calculations.

SaveAs

Click the Save As button to save with a new file name.

Save

Clicking on the Save button allows you to save the entries.

Quit

Clicking on the Quit button allows you to exit without saving any of your changes.

In some of the screens you will be asked to confirm if you want to exit Ignoring all changes. If you click Yes, the file will be closed without saving any changes. If you click No you will be returned to your original screen.

From the Browser, the Quit button will take you to a graphical display of the results.
